Hi!
It's Roberta again, and I'm so happy to share another post with you.
October has been a full month around here, with so much work, new ideas on my design table, and Halloween just around the corner. So grab your coffee (or a glass of wine, still no judgment π) and settle in.
So⦠what's cooking this October?
𧡠The real juggle
People sometimes ask me how I do it all. The honest answer? I don't always.
I run The Milk Crew from home, and I wear as many hats as I can. I design, pack orders, answer your messages, plan the emails, take the photosβ¦ and I'm a mom first. Some days it all flows. Other days I just can't, and I'm answering emails at 11 p.m. Let's call it balance. π
What I've been learning is that it doesn't have to be perfect to be meaningful. Every order, every photo you tag, every comment and message reminds me why I started. So thank you so much for being part of this crazy, beautiful juggle.

π In my kitchen: Brigadeiro Spiders
Halloween is just around the corner, and I've been testing a fun, easy recipe that brings together my Brazilian roots and the American Halloween tradition. Brigadeiro is a soft, fudgy chocolate treat, aka our party must-have. No Brazilian party is complete without them! So for Halloween, we're turning them into little spiders. My son loves helping with this one!
Ingredients
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- Chocolate sprinkles, for rolling
- Pretzel sticks, broken into small pieces (for the legs)
- Candy eyes
How to make it
- In a pan over medium-low heat, mix the condensed milk, butter, and cocoa powder.
- Stir constantly for about 10β15 minutes, until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the bottom of the pan.
- Pour onto a buttered plate and let it cool completely.
- With buttered hands, roll it into small balls, then coat them in chocolate sprinkles.
- Press in 8 pretzel pieces as legs (4 on each side) and add two candy eyes.
Spooky, cute, and gone in minutes. Trust me. π·οΈ
